About the event
Our Summer Meeting will be held jointly with the British Society for the History of Medicine at the University of St Andrews Medical School on Saturday 20th June 2026, with a full day programme to include the BSHM's biannual Poynter Lecture, which will be delivered by Dr John Clark, & an SSHM Council meeting.
There will be a morning tour, a buffet lunch, then three afternoon talks before the Poynter Lecture, which will be followed by a wine reception & dinner.
Accommodation will be able to be booked at the University Halls of Residence, with details to follow, & there will be an informal meet-up & dinner on Friday 19th June for those in the area. Programme tbc.
